My initial studies in graphic design in Peru drove me to an internship at Inchcape Motors (BMW). The internship included creating packaging for welcome kits, branding BMW store spaces, and developing advertising materials such as billboards, flyers, and catalogs.

Keeping the branding consistent with BMW's brand guidelines was not something to take lightly. No matter what I was working on, every piece I designed had to go through rigorous channels of approval and had to maintain the same aesthetics throughout.

On the day of my birthday, the Sr. Designer came up to me and offered the opportunity to brand an M3 car as a birthday present. I immediately ran to the materials closet, grabbed a box of colored pencils, and spent all day sketching and digitizing what I found to be Peruvian racer Manuel Gregorio's M3. The project consisted on designing a car wrap that represented the BMW brand while also including several sponsorship decals. Manuel Gregorio ended up winning the 6-hour race in La Chutana circuit. The car appeared in several newspapers and I still haven't gotten over it.
