Branding + Illustration
I set out to create an elegant brand with a warm, homey feel. This was achieved with the juxtaposition of the modern, serif font being intervened by the organic illustration.
In order to create a highlight within the piece, I took advantage of the negative space in the 'V' and used it to integrate a hand-drawn bouquet. Not only did this play a key role in capturing the essence of the brand, but it also provided the perfect opportunity to have a secondary logo and supporting iconography.
Each flower was carefully selected for its meaning:

Once I had all the brand assets, I was able to create a pattern the client could use as part of their identity for merchandise, packaging, etc.
